EMFULENI – The DA in Gauteng is demanding answers following allegations that cash-strapped Emfuleni Municipality has paid an employee over R132,000 for not taking leave.

Apparently, an employee in the Municipal Manager’s Office was paid out for accrued leave, despite this violating the municipality’s Leave Administration Policy.
